Another TikToker, Morgan Roos, shared updates from her 11th-floor apartment in Tampa. Though safe from flooding, she faced power loss and window leaks. Meanwhile, influencer Jacqueline Goldrich decided to remain in her Lutz home, deterred by costly flights and heavy traffic.

Hurricane Milton, which made landfall with 120 mph winds, caused mass power outages but eventually weakened to a tropical storm.
